The only place to start has to be Ibiza and the Holiday clubs that are there, from Amnesia to the ever growing Space the party never stops. Hed Kandi Music spent the first two weeks of the clubbing season over there in 2008 and it may well of been the two best weeks of the summer, the blend of the atmosphere and dance/house music, just about make this the number one destination for all Hed Kandi and dance music fans alike.

Hed Kandi Twisted

Hed Kandi Twisted is a great album. Twisted Disco 02.04 is a great mix of electro-pop dance numbers that make up disc one, and some great dance anthems on disc two. Scissor Sisters make two appearances on the first disc, first on the extended mix of “Comfortably Numb” and then a reworking of Bucci Bag’s “More Lemonade”. There’s a great cover of the Go Go’s “Our Lips Are Sealed” that opens the first disc, an instant highlight. My favorite track is Bastian’s “Bladerunner (I Think I Love You)”, which closes off the first disc. Other highlights on this disc include “You Used To” by Richard X, “Sometimes” by Les Rhythmes Digitales, and “Paddle” by Touche. The second disc as I said is more dance and house sounding. There’s some great tracks here, namely “Da Hype” by Junior Jack, “Superstars” by The Loose Cannons, and “Sweet Serendipity” by Bonnie Bailey. Overall a great collection to own, especially if you enjoy the other albums in the Hed Kandi Twisted series, this one won’t disapoint.

Hed Kandi Beach is an amazing house music compilation. Very good selection of brand new sexy and funky house tracks that are sure to set any dancefloor of any club on fire. Any compilation that features Miguel Migs tracks are a good indication of what else there is on the album. Hed Kandi Beach is a must BUY for any Funky house lover/DJ!
